Volunteers needed!!!
We are looking for volunteers undergraduates and
above who would like to gain experience in conservation and community
development projects in Africa. The activities to be undertaken by
individual would be worked out depending on their field of interest, student's
relevant experience and ongoing activities in the project at that time.
The project will be organised such that there will be enough time to work,
interact with the local communities and rest.
Practical
needs
For
work, volunteers will need to come with field clothing for a very hot
climate.
Essentials
Field trousers and boots (should be strong but able to
breath-the coast is exceptionally humid).
Rain proof coats and bags for
carrying equipment in the field on wet days.
Water bottle, first aid kits,
insect repellant and anti- malaria tables
Accommodation
Volunteers could choose to be accommodated at the
project's office in tents or rent at a reasonable price a cottage in Diani. On
request we could organise for homestays with the community.
